Pettigrew escapes! I admit it.

As to the "ranking" of them, I stand by my comment. For my money, AZKABAN doesn't spend enough time developing its characters or earning the twists and surprises they have in store for us, plus it took a big minus for making me sit through the muggle introduction (Dursleys, bus ride) and Quidditch.

But of course, YMMV.travis ezellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16670470897186230777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14154283.post-10842361176287289552011-01-10T18:43:29.157-08:002011-01-10T18:43:29.157-08:00Anyway, I suppose I'd rank this one about equa...Anyway, I suppose I'd rank this one about equal to Prisoner of Azkaban, in that it had less misery than Prisoner (almost no Quidditch, zero Dursleys) but also less interesting characters or advances in plot than Prisoner. I am not making a statement of opinion on this as positive or negative. It works in both cases and both movies are in my List of Amazing Movie Watching Experiences of the Nineteen-Nineties. But imagining either without VO is like cutting the hearts right out of them.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16718717862468517491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14154283.post-18466384624531662942010-10-05T04:24:57.187-07:002010-10-05T04:24:57.187-07:00I'd rather have truth about humans than facts ...I'd rather have truth about humans than facts about specific people.

YES.myrrhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14653881801613096806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14154283.post-8681916584959762622010-10-02T09:03:43.152-07:002010-10-02T09:03:43.152-07:00I agree that the real story is the complicated rel...I agree that the real story is the complicated relationship triangle between Mark, Eduardo and Sean. I don't feel like this is in the film enough as a primary plot, as much as I really, really want it to be. I daresay there is too much Winklevoss and too much courtroom diluting things.
